#OneWord

My one word for 2016 is "TRUST". After reflecting on some life events of 2015 I've come to realize that "TRUST" is what I need to rely on in 2016. More trust in God, more trust in friends & family, and more trust in myself. The year 2015 began with an unexpected and unwanted career change for my husband. This was shocking and painful for both of us. It still is. This shake up led to thoughts about our future careers, future place of employment, and even our future hometown.

I anticipate that 2016 will be "2015 Part 2" - full of twists and turns. In 2016 I will be like the bird sitting on the branch who is never afraid of the branch breaking because I trust in myself, my friends & family, and my God.
